Isabelle (Marie-Claire) Leduc has grown up with a camera in her hands. Her father was a Director of Photography in the film industry before becoming a film director and taught her the basics of taking photos. In her teenage years, she was given a camera with zero automatic functions on it. That camera was the Yashica seen on this photo. Sink or swim - learn to use the camera or move on to something else. She learnt how to use the camera.

She kept that camera for years before switching to digital. Even if she has a diversified range, landscapes remain her favourite. But every once in a while, she will do a themed based series like barns or water. She did an exhibit in Montreal in 2008 called “Water Stories”.

Her biggest passion in life is traveling and her camera is always in tow.
